  • Hardened Rubber-Reinforced Barrel Walls— Unlike soft inflatable tubs that sag and shift during use, the ArcticShell Elite's rigid barrel construction holds its shape firmly every single time you step in, giving you a stable and secure immersion experience.
  • 120-Gallon Capacity— With more volume than many portable tubs on the market, the ArcticShell Elite gives you a truly deep immersion experience; water rises to chest level for a full cold exposure session.
  • Upright Barrel Design— The tall, cylindrical shape is specifically engineered for upright sitting immersion, meaning your shoulders, chest, and core are all submerged at the same time.
  • Elite Dome Thermal Cover— The included cover locks in cold air between sessions, dramatically reducing the amount of ice needed to maintain your target temperature.
  • Heavy-Duty Bottom Drain Valve— Positioned at the base of the barrel for quick and complete drainage after every session. No lifting, no tipping, no mess.
  • Carry Handles— Integrated side handles make repositioning the ArcticShell Elite straightforward, even when it's partially filled.
  • UV & Weather-Resistant Exterior— The outer shell is built to withstand outdoor exposure including humidity, rain, and sunlight — making it a solid choice for Hong Kong's year-round climate.
  • Non-Slip Base Ring— A reinforced rubber base ring prevents the barrel from sliding or tipping on wet or uneven surfaces.
  • Interior Cleaning Brush Included— Keeping the interior walls clean between sessions is simple with the included long-handle brush designed specifically for the barrel shape.
  • Minimal Assembly— Simply attach the thermal cover clips and you are ready to go. No tools, no complicated setup steps.

User Guide

Step 1 — Choose Your Spot

Place the ArcticShell Elite on a flat, stable surface; indoors or outdoors. Lay the protective ground mat underneath to protect both the base and your floor surface.

Step 2 — Inspect Before Use

Before your first session, quickly check the barrel walls, drain valve, and cover attachment points to make sure everything is secure and undamaged.

Step 3 — Fill with Water

Using a hose, fill the barrel with cold water up to the recommended fill line marked on the interior wall. Do not overfill beyond the marked line.

Step 4 — Add Ice Gradually

Begin adding ice in batches. For beginners, aim for a starting temperature of around 12°C–15°C. More experienced users can push down to 5°C–8°C over time.

Step 5 — Attach the Thermal Cover

Secure the elite dome thermal cover over the barrel and allow the water to settle at your desired temperature for approximately 15–20 minutes.

Step 6 — Enter the Barrel Safely

Step into the barrel slowly using the side handles for support if needed. Lower yourself down steadily, keeping your breathing calm and controlled.

Step 7 — Sit Upright & Breathe

The upright barrel design keeps you seated with water reaching your chest and shoulders. Focus on slow, deep nasal breaths throughout your session.

Step 8 — Time Your Session

Beginners should aim for 2–3 minutes. With regular practice, you can gradually extend sessions up to 10–12 minutes. Never exceed 15 minutes per session.

Step 9 — Exit Cautiously

Use the carry handles and barrel rim for support as you step out. Move slowly; your body will need a moment to readjust after cold exposure.

Step 10 — Warm Up Naturally

Towel off and allow your body to rewarm at room temperature for at least 10 minutes before jumping into any physical activity.

Step 11 — Drain & Clean

Open the bottom drain valve and let the water empty completely. Use the included interior cleaning brush to wipe down the walls, then rinse with fresh water.

Step 12 — Store Properly

Once fully dry, place the dome cover above and store the barrel in a shaded, covered area away from prolonged direct sunlight.

Step 13 — Maintenance Tip

For regular users, do a deeper clean of the interior every 5–7 uses using a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Rinse thoroughly before the next session.

Step 14 — Safety Reminder

Always have someone nearby during your first few sessions. If you feel dizzy, short of breath, or unusually uncomfortable, exit the tub immediately and warm up.
